ARDCI Holds Annual Meeting To Elect Board of Trustees

Virac, Catanduanes — Proxies stood for ARDCI’s 95,000 plus members in the Annual Meeting held last April 21 to elect members of the Board of Trustees(BOT). Camarines Sur, Sorsogon and Albay areas each have two proxies while Catanduanes has eight.

Benjamin Completo, representing Branch 4 of Catanduanes, garnered the most votes with all 14 proxies electing him to the Boad. Completo, together with Ma. Fe Guerrero, Amelita Teves, Presentacion Sergio, and Eden Tumolva, are new members of the Board. Incumbent BOT President, Rogelio Bitome, was re-elected with 10 votes. Other re-electionists were Corazon Atanacio with 13 votes, Alma Aguinaldo, and Marilou Boco.

Immediately after the elections, the Board of Trustees voted for the officers. For the term 2015 – 2016, ARDCI will receive discretion and guidance from its Board of Trustees headed by incumbent BOT President, Rogelio Bitome, and assisted by the following:

On April 21, 2015, an election was held for the New Set of Board of Trustees of the ARDCI NGO Group, Incorporated. Benjamin Completo of Branch 4 – Catanduanes notched the elections with a total of 14 votes, followed by Corazon Atanacio, also from Branch 4, garnering 13 votes. Rogelio Bitome, the current BOT President, was re-elected to sit in the board with 10 votes. Other re-electionists are Corazon Atanacio, Alma Aguinaldo and Marilou Boco.

The Annual Regular Meeting and Election was attended by 14 proxies from Camarines Sur, Sorsogon, Albay and Catanduanes; two proxies were selected from each area in the Mainland and 8 from Catanduanes.

It is expected that the new set of Board of Trustees will continue to support and work with ARDCI in achieving its goals of elevating the lives of the Poor Filipinos.
