ARDCI Employees Clean-Up Trash along San Roque Creek
Virac, Catanduanes – Eighty six (86) employees gathered along the adopted San Roque Creek on Saturday morning of February 2, 2019 in an effort to clean up the creek and in participation to the Gogon River Clean-Up Drive.
The Gogon River has been nominated in the region wide competition “RIVERS (Recognizing Individuals/institutions towards Vibrant and Enhanced Rivers) for Life” Award. Moreover, it is also the community’s effort to save the river from pollution and other environmental threats.

The clean-up drive was participated by San Roque Barangay Council and its residents. In addition, business establishment situated along Gogon River and its tributaries joined the activity.
In Action. Employees help each other in cleaning-up the creek.
Truckloads of trash has been collected from the adopted creek which compose mostly of non-biodegradable materials, twigs and wild plants that propagates in the area. The public should be reminded that river is not a dumping ground rather it should be well taken good care of as there are also life that flourishes underneath the current.
Further, the San Roque Creek clean-up is a quarterly activity of ARDCI as part of its CSR activities in line with one of its 5K “Katuwang sa Kalikasan”.
